Darlene Witte’s Poetry & Performance…

In 2021, I created a special writers’ workshop to bridge the gap between poetic words on a page and poetry read aloud. Since then, it has become a popular mainstay for poets from around the world.

I invite you to join me on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month for a virtual meeting of the poetic minds. We gather under the banner of the Green Mountain Writers Group, with over 600 members on Meetup, using Zoom to facilitate our worldwide audience.

My Poetry & Performance gatherings present a 20-40-minute reading by a guest poet followed by a round-robin open mic where everyone in attendance is encouraged to share an original work of their own or a favorite poem by any other poet.

Our first print publication features 25 of our participating poets including me.
